Granny Banger

Well heres my new daily driver till my project cars complete.

Is a Jan 76' model (has ADR 27 on comp plate but no ADR 27A)
Mk2 2dr
Reco 1.3lt
Manual
Stock except some pacemaker extractors
Stump pulling tow-bar

As you can see it has a good side and an average side and a rooted boot.

Not sure what diff ratios in it yet, but sure does scoot along well for a measly 1.3lt

Rhys

    Hahahaha sure is.
Should have updated top, but figured no one cared bout the green beast. Its actually a Reco'd 1.6lt. Not 1.3lt. Thats why it goes alright.
Was sold as a 1.3lt, didnt work it out till I parked it next to my other 1600 at the time.

Granny banger at the moment is out of action... small electrical problem I haven't been able to fix due to small car Sunday coming up... but soon it will probably be used as the test bed for our 2L turbo motor while the Mk1 4-Door is still being tidied up

    Not dead yet!

Way to revive an old thread!

This car has been found, since Stairsy sold it, its moved onto a new owner and its going to be one FULL HOUSE escort.

I didn't take pictures, but currently stripped entirely and got some big big wheels under the back gaurds with alot of the floor pan cut out to accomodate them.
    Big power Cossie turbo, 5spd G-Force g/box , sheet metal 9".

Seeing cars do full circle makes me

It's going to be pretty impressive huh!... I was chatting to peter when he dropped off the engine from it (which will probably end up as an interim for my corty as it was a pretty nice motor) he's pretty much gotten rid of all the bits I had from the cossie for much higher performance parts and is now chasing 750hp! [:p]

I can't wait to see it done... I got sort of attched to old banger until she gave up on me
