Please Explain....

    Goes over the front grill to reduce cold winter airflow to the radiator which would make the engine run too cool. These were called a 'Wintershield' rather than a weathershield.

    I recall seeing a similar part called a 'Wintershield' that fits below the radiator extending back to the sump. I'm sure I saw it in the UK FoMoCo parts manual for MK1 Capri 68-
