Is that thermostat housing which comes out between the cam gears standard on the MX5? Laser's dont have that.
I am looking to do this conversion on my MK2 Cortina but would not be using the MX5 box as they are not strong enough for what I am looking to do, plus I will be using my laser as a donor car so it will be turbo also.

Yes the thermo housing is a Mx5 B6 std item, but I've made a block to lift the outlet about 50mm so I can use a std 90 deg. bend as a top hose
