Car transport across oz

Hi All

Moving from WA to NSW (Port Macquarie) within next few weeks, and need to send 6 cars across (3 of them Escorts).
Anyone know of a good car transporter ? heard loads of horror stories of cars being smashed and forklift damage.
Surely there must be someone who has a car carrier who fancies moving 6 cars in one??

Any help really apreciated

I do not recommend TNT. I moved my RS2000 from Coffs Harbour to Darwin and they cause heaps of damage using a fork lift then denied liability, saying that the car was damaged when it arrived at the Coffs depot. I have had four cars brought to Darwin (not at the same time)from NSW, Victoria and SA by Autotrans and not so much as a scratch. Good luck with a deal for six cars.

I used CEVA Logistics to bring my Mk1 from Darwin to Brisbane, very happy with them.

There's a good club in Port Dawleymoon called the Midcoast Ford Club. Mostly Falcons and stuff but there is a couple of Escorts and Capris.

I'm 45 mins north near Kempsey. If you're into motorsport then Kempsey Sporting car club is great. Good luck with the move.

I've also been very pleased with CEVA. Excellent care, excellent staff and they will price match. Fairly sure you'd get a good deal doing 6 cars at once.

    Thanks for the replys guys,
I will look more into it this week and get prices etc. Hopefully I can find someone that will take them straight from Perth to there destination, heard lots of stories bout people unloading - reloading damaging cars and i dont want that. mk1 and mk2 reliable, but escort cossie is so low afraid someone will rip front end off, and father in laws old xb thing is unreliable starting etc.
Wonder if there are any companies based mid north coast that fancy return loads from Perth???

CEVA would most likely deliver to the Sydney depot and reload to go up the coast, unless your cars were the only ones on the truck and they might go direct. Best to ring and ask.

CEVA moved my Escort from Brisbane to Newcastle and while it did get unloaded in Sydney, they were really good with it and used straps not chains and the car arrived perfect.

    And cheap too.
