Bike Carbs mods for car use

Hi

I've got a set of ZX9r (Keihin CVK)carbs that i'm using on a zetec, just wondering what mods other people have done to bike carbs to make them more suitable for use on a car.

There seems to be a bit of talk around blocking off the pilot/idle ciruit and drilling out the main jet (Cause and effect i guess) but without any real justification for doing so.

Advice from people running bike carbs successfully would be great

Cheers

Mate i used to own a suzuki sierra 4wd, and in America they put them on the suzuki's all the time. The rule of thumb was 1.3 motor 600cc carbies, the biggest killer was fuel pressure. As bike carbs are low pressure ,see if you can find the fuel pump of said bike it will make life so much easier.Or if you are lazy just a single carb of a harley will feed a 1.3 with no mod's
