first time ive bought a car which isint an esky!!
well had a bit of a shocker weekend.
Friday night went for a "spirited" drive with a group of about 15 mates. they were all in turbo modern cars. i was keeping up really well ( actually impressive) untill i misjudged a corner...........aledaide hills roads claim another :(
totally devo because i really liked that car. but in my opinion cars are there to be driven and enjoyed. and i can tell you i was having a blast untill that corner.
anyway Sunday karting comes around. after winning (well equal first on points) my class in the state championship i was looking to go well at the club champs. first race i started pole and another guy outbraked himself and launched over me. did the radiator and some other damage. i spun but managed to keep going. caught back up and went from 3rd to 1st on the last corner last lap haha. temp light came on on the warm down lap.
got loaned a radiator to finish the day which i won but more money needs to be spent now....
anyway i needed a new car and got offered this from a mate...... first time ive ever bought a car that isint an escort!!!! feels.....strange
its a 91 jzz30 soarer with the 1j twin turbo. should be a good daily.
should come up good with a little TLC. i work for toyota so everything i need is on tap so to speak.
still escort fanatic thru and thru... expect updates on the track esky soon :)
