That's a good question and not one I have an answer to at the moment. I have some changes I want to do to the fuel system and hopefully by then I have found somewhere to take it. It needs the gaps done and a bunch of dent/filler work prior to paint. I might start work on the bonnet first now that the scoop has been cleared.

I just had some time to read through this thread, there is an amazing amount of work gone into this car and I love the detail especially the cage and how it ties into the chassis. It's been a long project with the first post in 2010 however it seems you had a good plan from the start and kept to it. It's a great record of your build. Congratulations on the rego, that's not easy with the amount of mods made and goes to show the quality of work that has gone into this car.

So dropbox has changed and you cant see a bunch of these photos. Sigh. Here is the pic I was intending to put up. Been cruising the car a bit to iron out the kinks.

Is this a rebuild or cosmetic?

It's been back to bare metal and fixed a every panel, reshaped the stretched rear guards. The engine was hurt so it has been changed up as has the gearbox. The suspension, wheels and brakes are the same. I guess it's likely closer to a rebuild.

are you painting it yourself Wattsy? I'd be interested in the paint products used.

Wow, I just had time to look through whole build. Pity the photos are no longer accessible. (Does anyone know how long they stay up with the post?) It was surely a monumental task and good on you for sticking with it. Such a pity we are not all located near to each other to lend a helping hand and provide motivation/encouragement. I bet there are things you did in the build, modifications etc, you probably forgot about when commencing this rebuild. Mark

The car is in a shop and he is painting it. I am a bit over the crap and it's a bit outside my skillset. I had done a bit of bogging... the pro had a look and stripped it all back out again lol. He fixed so much more in the metal that was previous bogged. We even moved the body line over the wheel arches this time. A bunch of the photos were linked through dropbox, but then the software changed and they dropped off. Maybe I will do a catch up post at some point after it is painted. Depends on interest / motivation.
