Valve clearance minimum

what is the minimum clearance beteen valve and piston cutout ? Im setting up a N/a street car and have around 0.7mm.

    I usually work on an absolute minimun of .060" (1.5mm)

    Where does that 1.5mm dimension come from ?

    This is my first cossie engine build, looks like its back to the machineshop for deeper valve pockets.

    Was the measurement I was always taught to work with.

    Others may think differently, but I'm yet to bent any valves on any engine I have done.
