Mk2 1600 XL

Hi All,

I recently purchased a Mk2 2door 1600 XL, Original car with 1 owner. I have added bathurst globes and a RS steering wheel. Not sure about my plans though I have lots of ideas but for now I'm enjoying having an Escort on the road.

Happy to hear any of your suggestions.

Daz

Great stuff. Looks tidy and looks like fun.

Wish all of us could be enjoying an Escort on the road at the moment! Enjoy.

Well done Dazza, will have to go for a spin. I agree with Timmeh, it is very depressing with no escort to drive. let's hope were cruising before Xma

Thats a goodun DAZ. Good enough to keep original. Maybe a factory type front spoiler, lose the seat covers and slope the aerial backwards and the jobs done.

Washed, polished and new interior installed (which was purchased from a fellow forum member), not bad for a tan interior.

Have to agree with Chris. A very nice job indeed. Does the beige interior affect the cars performance though? [:x)]

New springs and shocks added over the long weekend, thanks to Weiry.

Also some pics of my other XL 2 door, one for the road and one for the track maybe.

Globes get my vote. That interior is awesome - such a nice change from the usual black on black. IMO, matching carpet would finish it off nicely! Great work so far.
