koni adjustment / coilover query

hey guys just taken delivery of new inserts and wondering if they should be adjusted from full soft as delivered or made firmer. car used mainly for road use. am also considering coil over conversion while its all apart as i would like it to be a little lower my question is if the current springs ( pedders capri low ) have a free length of 250mm do i just get 10 inch springs and wind anjustment down to desired height or have i over simplified everything. any advice appreciated thanks

Rule of thumb was usually set them a third of a turn...
Really comes down to what you like...once you set them its a pain to change it again....

did you get reds or yellows?

Yellows (sport) use lowest setting then increase 1/2 turn every 10000kms

Reds (road) start with use 1-2 turns and see what how it handles.

thanks guys think i will split the difference, lashed out on the yellow ones and dont plan on having to pull them out again to adjust, although i think the difference between these and the comfort gas that are now in the bin will be like night and day regardless of adjustment, thanks again

Im with you RSS_80 . Split the middle and leave them.
I haven't done mine yet . Is it full left then 1 click right to give the middle setting correct?
