CA18DET Into mk2 escy , uk member needs help ,

greetings from the uk guys , i have been pointed in this direction from a member of oldskoolford.co.uk forum , i am so pleased to find alot of you guys have been putting sr/ca engines in your Escorts so you all know your stuff

THE PLAN = MK2 ESCORT + CA18DET MANUAL BOX

i am abit of a [:o)] when it comes to engine coversions, so i am going to need all the help i can get , i have done a v8 capri install but that was quite simple and to be honest i have found through reading the forums that a ca18det conversion is a little comlicated and i am duanted by it , BUT NOT PUT OFF

Is there any tips you guys can offer , i know there is abit of discusion/debate as to the steering rack . does it, does it not need lowering etc etc

i was also wondering what is the rule for measuring the engine up and making sure everything is level and in correct position etc it doesnt help that these engines sit on a wonk

any help advice appreciated !!!!!
