Mexico Mk 2 in Australia?
Does anyone know of any Genuine Mk 2 Mexico's in Australia? The only one I'm aware of is a red non registered stored one in Sydney. Rumour has it that a white replica exists in QLD? Any others?

Did the mint coloured Mexico take part in the Bathurst club run a few weeks ago? I saw the car and just assumed, due to the rarity in Oz that it wasn't genuine.
Have a look at: (on very bottom left hand side photo)

That's not a good photo of the car. It does not do it justice. Have a look at the Gallery on the RSOCVIC website. There should be some good photos of it there.

This is a pic I have of it. Its running a 2L pinto isn't it? I thought the Mexicos used the 1600 xflow (or 1600 pinto?). I could be wrong though.

The Mk2 Mexico ran the 1600 Pinto engine, therefore single OHC. They allegedly developed 95bhp, which is only marginally less than the Australian built RS2000s.

I didn't actually mean mint as in the colour, I meant 'mint' as in great condition. but yes looking back it does look simular to mint in colour.
