SMALL FORD SHOWDOWN & ROLL THE DICE RUN - 15/08/10
Hi all,
HUNTER BRITISH FORD GROUP is hosting the 2010 Small Ford Showdown on Sunday 15th August. Simultaneous Roll the Dice Runs will leave from Sydney & Newcastle at 9.00am. Heading via several checkpoints to Wallarah Bay Rec Club on the Central Coast. Scenic waterfront park alongside club will host the show n shine at the end of the dice run.
Good prizes given out for best dice scores.
All welcome. Invited clubs include CAP Club, Small Ford Car Club, Capri Club, RS Owners Club and Zephyr club. Non club members most welcome.

INFO UPDATE.
Sydney Roll the Dice Run leaving 9.30am from Thornleigh overflow car park for Bunnings. Turn into Phylis Ave, from Pennant Hills Rd. [At Maccas and Bunnings] Drive down Phylis Ave, go straight ahead through round about, and turn into car park at end of street.
Newcastle Roll the Dice Run leaving 9.00am Maccas Edgeworth. Extra parking available in overflow carpark at entry.
3rd checkpoint will be shared by both Newcastle and Sydney entrants, then onto last checkpoint at Wallarah Bay Rec Club, 40 Wallarah Rd, Gorokan. Bring a picnic lunch, or enjoy a great meal, competitively priced from the club's bistro.
Dice score prize presentations done at approx 1.30pm so our mates from Sydney can leave in time to avoid the Sunday bottle neck.
Aim of the day is to socialise between all Small Ford Clubs.

i'll obviously be there but look for me in the focus the corty's going through a small tidy up and won't be ready for that weekend. So far CAPClub have about 6-8 cars going. It's a shame about the timing because of the busy show and display schedule but it's worth the drive. hopefully if this ones a success we can look to organise an annual event. Dave has been busy organising this event for the past months with some outside help, so it will be a great chance to get alot of our small english fords out on the road to a great family friendly venue for a chance to have a chat. Look forward to seeing everyone at the dice checkpoint's along the way winding through some great country side.

Only one week to go now, HUNTER BRITISH FORDS are geared up with lots of cars coming down. Every one up here is keen to meet all the other Small / British Ford enthusiasts from the other clubs. Please remember, you don't have to be in a club to come along - all welcome. Prizes are ready to be given to the lucky dice score winners.
The Small Ford Showdown / Roll the Dice Run is on whether rain, hail or shine. Looking forward to seeing every one and their great cars on the day!
