    Pull out your wallet!

Sterling, Edgar is a bit of a grumpy old ba$tard, but he's pretty good to deal with if you don't go there to pull his chain. Mind you, I haven't been there in a few years...

I've never had any trouble with Edgar. He's always been helpful. Might help that I was introduced to Edgar by a bloke who's known him for over 30 years.

I find him a good bloke to deal with, very knowledgeable on small fords, has a dry sense of humour. Every time I go in there, his opening line to me is " änd how can I rip you off today"
    I really like the guy

    Sterling,

I dont want to give the wrong impression, nor badmouth anyone...From what I've heard from others, there are a lot of people that have good dealings with him and he seems a knowledgable guy. I just must have caught him on a bad day... twice and you know what they say about first impressions,

I couldnt help myself (chuckling) and add something to this as well.....

Edgar - where do we start - lol

It is fantastic that some of us have been dealing with Edgar for years, myself close on 25 and he hasn't changed one bit!!
Between bits & pieces for my Capri & Escorts, then add in the servicing for him & Mark plus contact with Edgar for rally scruitineering he has always been a true charactor, I remember many occasions as John says having a cuppa with Edgar when a first timer would walk in.... his dry sense of humour does take a bit to get used, and to some would seem very rude & rough if you didn't know him

'a true charactor and loves his small fords'

In this world in which we live in these days, we need characters like Edgar to keep our sense of humour
