Carrols springs in Smithfield Sydney will reset old springs and add extra leaf or make up new leaves if required, they can also reverse the eye if needed. They do need a spring to copy. The old CD8 escort setting is a good choice. (About 145LB).
I have Gaz front Capri inserts from Smacka in MK2 legs, that car is not on the road yet so I can’t comment on performance, I have also heard a lot of pluses and minuses on Gaz.

arh never though about resetting the springs! that sounds good, ive got another mk1 there i can get the springs out of to get done, how much to reverse eyes get? around 1.5 inch's isnt it?

as for the gaz i stuffed it up, there not recomend for race use* still not sure what to do there but i guess i can just put some stuffed inserts in for while the panel works getting done allready got the front springs.

btw does anyone no a place in vic that reset leafs?
