cutting a diff down

hey guys
i wanna get a diff shortened when i get around to buyin one...
what's the goin price for shortening... im in the Sydney area..

ide grind off all the old mounts and so on so they had to do less of the work...
ide have to take my diff in and say i want this on this diff yeah??

also ill need a new tail shaft expensive????

    Craft Differentals have done thousands of diff conversion including all of our crew in SFCC. A new 3" drive shaft is a good idea as you can fit rugged uni joints...All up about 3K as a ball park...

    I have a shortened borgwarner with drums off a escort in pieces with 4.11 ratio if its any interest to you.

    ...Yes Borg Warner, Add another 2K for the Kaaz clutch pack LSD...Prices vary for all these sorts of mods and if you know someone in the game, that helps too of course...

    well im not keen at the momonet just wondering what it would be worth to do... im buyin a cossie bottem end so im a lill poor and yes mark ive got the turbo route and i will be building a cossie... its becuase of u and phill i have done it lol.. so if somthing stuffs up its on u 2 guys haha...

    ...That is not true as we both have had much success and many grins, so if it stuffs up it's on you[;^)][:I]...Do it right first time, there is a cost for that...Though you will be happy

    yeh ill try and get advice from everywhere...
    ive been looking at ecus.. and wow prices lol then i gotta get it wired..
    but ive herd from heaps of ppl the better the computer the better engine
    so i spose i gotta spend money to have fun lol..
    got any computers in mind.. not 2 costly thou?? lol

    Why not run the standard ecu for the time being then upgrade later down the track?

    I have a early mazda b1800 semi floater diff 4.1 ratio(huge 31 spline axels)LSD available as well Im getting rid of,which is the same width as escort,no shortening required just machine down the hubs( I can help you with that) and change the pcd to escort,Fit your brakes,I have the tail shaft from it as well so posibly use it as well.
