Clutch Opinions

Hi all,
I don't know much about clutches however when I saw the clutch my engine builder is going to install I was a little suprised at how flimsy it looked for a flywheel thats gonna get approx 400hp chucked at it.

wouldn't mind your thoughts here as I'm open to spending the right cash for the right setup.

    Hi Muzza,

As long as the pressure plate is set up properly it should be fine...only marginally more aggressive than a standard heavy duty type. I've run a 5 button sprung centre set up for years without issue.

    Cheers,

    Phil.

Ahh Cheers Guys! Just that I had a carbon one installed previously and it had alot more contact surface on it, Phil if your using the same then I guess I shouldn't have a problem with mine. The wheels would spin before the clutch slips i guess!
