    Hi

On a similar topic; will i lose gearbox oil if the gasket between the bellhousing and maincase is in poor condition? Reason i ask is that i got the box reconditioned from Eurospeed not that long (K's wise) and would be suprised if either they had made a mistake or gaskets would have failed in that time. I used the bellhousing gasket from the old 4 spd which was pretty rough. Don't want to dismantle the thing unnecessarily.

    Cheers

yes,the whole gearbox is flooded with oil so it will leak out of this area if the gasket is gone, check the 6 extension housing bolts are tight as well.
