Can you somehow mount your led clusters behind the original mk2 lens? That'd keep the factory look but still give you the leds.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but..... this beholder recons it looks like you could not afford or be bothered to get the proper ones...
(a la Landrover where they forgot to design tail lights or indicators and just used trailer lights...)

- so thats another no, but as it is your car, you need to like it....

i plan to do this....get those truck lights strip them and mount the led behind the factory escort lens you can get orange, red and white for reverse will be brighter then stock!

later when the time comes i was going to have a play with a led cluster behind the standard lenses, it could be very effective if done right, but sorry dude not a fan of the trailer lights
