MK1 2 door Anchorage points??

Has anyone here put an 8mm anchorage point in the rear parcel shelf to fit a child seat?? Was there any trouble getting it approved?

    In my MK 2 I found an existing hole which was the right size and in about the right position and placed the bolt and bracket to that.
