Cam follower clips

Got a new set of cam follower clips from burtons for my "everything in the top of the pinto is new & better" upgrade but when I went to fit them found that they are a heaver gauge then standard & fit so tight that they almost pull the bottom kidney shaped bits up the adjuster posts, any ideas?
cheers Steve

As max said, you could be putting them on the wrong way. If you have the "kidney shaped bits" closest to the valve side you will have this trouble. If you already know this and have them around the other way, the right way, then i suppose as Mickas said, some pics would help.

So this is the wrong way then? I tried the other way but thought that it tended to put the little kidney bits open where they meet.
