reverse lights on Mk1/2 Vans??

hello,

found this on the shelf at work and thought it looked alot like the reverse lights that sit next the number plate on the Mk1/2 Escort vans? does any body think the same or know if it is?

it is 76mm dia and is chrome around the base.

    I was always used to the escort vans as having square reversing lights about 50mm square and about 40mm high.
