Remote reservoirs

Hi

I have a bias pedal box with the remote reservoirs mounted under the bonnet, in the bulkhead next to the drivers side bonnet hinge. I'm not happy as they sit on an angle (due to the shape and angle of the panel) and i'm at a loss to find a decent solution for mounting them. I have one of the alloy brackets to suit 2 resevoirs but have never been able to find a spot to put it.

I've been head scratching for that long that i think i'm overlooking an obvious solution.....so any pics of reservoirs mounted (On brackets especially) or any ideas would be much appreciated. MK2 Escort.

Cheers

Not the best pic. Just a piece of alloy I cut and bent to shape to fit the contour of just behind strut tower plate.

I did this to avoid drilling into bulkhead and if they were to leak then it wouldn't go on the paint as much.

Why don't you machine up a length of tube with an inside diameter to suit the mounting stud. You then cut through the tube at the same angle as the panel you're mounting too. Place each half on either side of the mounting panel and align to provide the desired verticle attitude to the reservoir.
