my car hates me i swear!!!! the lil beach has thrown another issue in with the rest, she wont let me finish anything with out a fight!

ok got home from a poo poohouse day at work, got my leafs back after having the old bushes pressed out, thinkin to myself ahh finally i can finish lowering her, set it all up all ready to go then i go to fit it to the front mount as in the pictures and the front bushl is too big by about 5 mill, and i can't just cut it the metal tube inside it is aswell!!

they are mk2 2ltr Escort bushes and they done fit a mk2 2ltr??? have i done something wrong here? should i get panel van bushes as there panel van leafs? but these are for a 2ltr so why isnt the metal tubing inside not fitting?????? argh!!![:(!][}:)]

anyway here are the pics!

This the bush is stopping you?
Feed the leaf into bracket first(angle it so one side of bush feeds in)and twist!
Then fit the rear leaf mount last.

And if all else fails get a jack under it to 'press' it in. But watch bush gets its edges within the mount or you'll wreck the bush if ya start jacking.

ok prob solved, i went out there and talked to her for a while then beat the freak outa it with a mallet and viola! yeh i just angled it level wit someone holding it level with the bracket then belted the poo poo outa it and it popped in!

now the only thing stopping me is a rouge bolt that wont do up, got a mate bringin some vicegrips round tomora to get her done[:p]

finally got her sitting down agin, very happy with the end ride height, once i do a few corners in her the front will sit down lower (still smanka springs) it also feels so much more stiffer in front and back which is great can't wait to test it out!!!!
