Quick shift

Hey guys, Just bought a Sierra T9 Spd quickshift and i fitted it up but its seems to not be going in reverse. It's still push down and top left even though it's a quick shift right? because my cars in peices i cant see if its goin in with the reverse lights etc. when i click down it's not going left and up, it just feels like first.

Any idea's?

Rhys.

Not as stupid as it sounds, but have you got the stick in 180 degrees out... (No not upside down !)...

Don't laugh, but some sticks will go in the right way, but not allow full gear selection....

Yes some of the machining work can be not so consistant on the aftermarket shifters and may need abit of relieving with a grinder to find reverse,we had to adjust one not long ago on a 4 speed shifter to find the reverse gate

All good, turned it 180 and she clicks into reverse. I didn't realise the machined part, i thought it was just a fork. Cheers.
