Exhaust tunnel.....

Just in the planning stages atm. Have recently bought a heap of mandrel bends for the exhaust when the new motor goes in. Has anyone got some pics/links/info on installing an exhaust tunnel to keep the exhaust tucked up as much as possible?? It'll be a 3" exhaust. What is the easiest way to go about this? Can the tunnel sections be bought prefab? or do they need to be made, rolled?

Thanks, Shaun.

Have a look at the Prepfab site and Gartrac sites.
From memory they have various picture on their sites.

If the car is going to be road reg'd, i'd check with engineer, might not be legal. niscort on these forums has done this with his MK1.

Car will be road legal, from what I have been told as long as there is no modifcation to the chassis sections I will be ok. Haven't had it confirmed yet though... Regardless, I'm sure a big exhaust tucked neatly above the chassis with tunnel section will get me less 'attention' than if it is hanging too low and obvious....

Have had a look at Niscorts link already, will have a look at the prefab and other link.

    Thanks guys.
