Induction Manifolds - Pinto

For a performance Pinto, what is considered the best inlet manifold for 48's??

I have heard of Lynx, Redline and Warneford (know nothing about the latter). Best place to source these? Are they generally bolt on or do they need port matching or machining in any way?

Any opinions?

    I use a Redline manifold - easy to get in Australia, dont quote me on it but I think it is a little shorter than the lynx manifold.
    I have never heard of any one of them being significantly better than the other

    they will need to be match ported to your head & carbies etc

    So just diegrind or file the manifold to the same size/shape opening as the head and carbies? Smooth out the flow?

    The best inlet is custom length to suit requirements,

    then warneford...

    So long as you port match what you have, (at both ends) you should be right.

    i have a hand made one to suit 48-50mm webers, worked a treat with 176rwhp. only drama was you need a sierra 90deg dizzy cap but custom is the way to go in my opinion

    Glenn the Warneford by far is the best with the Lynx being next to useless due to not being able to open them up enough, the Redline are the best of what's available and are based on the Warneford patterns but they can get a little fragile once you've opened them up properly but it's easy fixed with a Tig
