definitive guide on zetec conversion

hey guys ive got a mk2 corty and would like to hear a definitive list of what needs to be done to the:
ignition - i want to run on carbs anything i can use from aus?
what to do with gearboxes? i mite be getting hold of a cortina 4 spd, will the flywheel fit? what about clutch?
i know i need to fit a spigot bearing, but which one?
im looking to do most of the fabrication with my old man, ex bolier maker, but honestly have no clue about anything else. ive been reading but i just get confused. anybody who has done it and noted down what theyve done? cheers
