firing order for 1300 in a MK1

hello,

what is the firing order for a 1300 in a MK1? on the lead set i bought it had 1324 but on other info i have seen it said 1243? the leads on the car have all been removed and it didn't get noted before hand! bugger!

also, which is number one on the dizzy cap? i cant see any markings or "lumps" to show which one is number one?

thanks heaps
chris

Just below the rotor button you should find a scribe mark in the metal ring. When the rotor is pointing to this its hould be at BTDC piston 1. that should give you a clue as to where number one is on the dizzy cap

    1243 firing order
