Mk2 Escort 1600 radiator Vs 2L radiator

Hi,

Can someone please confirm that the only difference between the 1600 mk2 escort radiator and the 2L mk2 escort radiator is the bracketry ?

    As it turns out they share the same cores, although the 2L rad has 18 cooling fins per inch whereas the 1600 rad has 10 fins per inch
