intercooler modification
my mammoth intercooler rocked up finally. trouble is its a bit bigger than i thought it was going to be.
i dont see why i cant cut it down (height ways) and blank off the bottom of the side tanks, is this correct?? see pics cheers guys

Its what Im doing I have already cut it just need to get it tig'd up. I cant see how it would effect it aslong as it holds pressure.

I've had problems also. Do the usual browse for the image, insert image, upload image to forum, copy code (click on code and drag over full length), close off box (very important!), paste code in to replace XXXX in the following: (img)http://classic-ford.org/forum/XXXX(/img) Replace the ( brackets with [ Replace the ) brackets with ] Will work then!

ive decided to stick to the old one to get me going for now, to fit the bigger one im going to have to remove some serious metal, unfortunately 30mm too wide. balls..
