Capri 1600 Resto Project

Greetings fellow Capri enthusiasts!
Whilst I have been a visitor to this site for a number of years, this is my first posting as a member.
I thought some of you might be interested in the restoration project of my 1600 "Poverty Pack". I think it has been worth saving and hopefully, it might last another 40 years.
If you really want to read the very long story and see all the pics, then go to my blog at:

Cheers

Looking good. My first car was a 1970 Jewel Green Deluxe manual with saddle interior. Importantly you mdae 2 wise choices, 1 joining this forum and 2 getting in touch with your local capri club. Great blog btw I wish i had done one

Thanks for the positive comments about the car.
I decided to write the blog to ensure that I retained my computing skills and also to learn how to write a blog. However, after I had finally finished & re-read all my log entries, I quickly realised how much time goes into these projects and also how frustrating it can be at times. I also am fortunate that I have the time to do it, but I would recommend to anyone starting a new project to give some consideration to how you record what you do.
    Cheers

    Useful Capri Websites
I have finally put together a list of websites that I have used in the restoration of my Capris. They can be found on my blog at

    http://my70fordcapri.blogspot.com/

No doubt there are others which could be shared if other Capri fanatics thought it to be useful.
