when i try a hard launch, or drop the clutch a little hard.
it used to get engine tramp (yeah i know) but new engine mounts fixed that fine.

Get some decent rear springs, shocks and bushes. I run Kings with anti rebound leaf, Koni shocks and Superpro bushes. No tramp, but a pretty expensive exercise. You'll be looking at $1150-1200

Could take the lo-tech old school option:- Tramp Bars. Won't fix your inherent setup problems, but may help a little off the line.....
Would definately recommend taking Wozzas' line of approach, you will expereience a whole new world of chassis dynamics where you can place the car on the road considerably more accurately - and a safer drive too !

the biggest mistake i made was not putting the konis in soon enough. Get some front and back and you'll notice the difference. much smoother over the standard gear.

Old style tramp bars might 'fix' the problem but a word of warning, they wont pass a roadworthy in Victoria.
Get a set of trailing arms from SMCKA and fit them. They will stop the axle tramp and improve its handling.
The mounts need to be welded to the chassis and diff housing though.

Another warning. Quite a few years ago a mate wrote his Mk1 Cortina off at Calder after he fitted tramp rods. The rear end kept trying to overtake the front until it did and the car rolled.

Ok, price has come down a little since last time I got them.
Spings with anti rebound @150lbs $560pr Koni Yellows $350pr Bushes $90 set Total $1000
Standard Kings springs (lowered) $350pr Koni yellows $350pr Bushes $90 set Total $790
Standard kings springs (lowered) $350pr Monroe shocks $140pr Bushes $90 Total $580
No promises that the last 2 optionms will cure your tramp, you really need the anti rebound type, but up to you.
