mk2 1jz attempt

hey fellas nu b on the forum!my husband bought a mk2, 2 years ago ,no engine.He also has a 1jzgte with auto tranny,I'm buggin him to attempt the conversion for me.NE1 seen or heard of anyone who has done this conversion before,it has to be street legal,fed up of seeing it collecting dust.

    i dont think it will be able to be street regod...
    pretty sure u can only have like a 2.1l engine or something is the maximum... 1jzs r 2.5l...

    wat state r u in?

    There's a guy called Alan on the forum who put a 2j in hes MK2, i think hes username is 02pruv

    If the their avatar is right then I'm pretty sure they'll be able to get it registered. Road rules in the Caribbean are pretty relaxed.

    Thanks for the info so far guys.With regards to registration,thats no problem, it can be legally registered.I'm in trinidad in the caribbean.I'm looking for info on the conversion like radiator,diff,rear brakes,engine mounts,instrument panel,removal of hydro fan pump etc.NOTE!!! almost all parts have to be custom made as there is almost no availability of parts.Also need to go single turbo nothing big,due to steering column issues.
