Hi again Guys,
A few nights ago I successfully posted several photos with a small amount of text in one upload to the forum.

Last night and tonight I have tried several times to again post several photos with a small amount of text.

What is happening is when I have the message open I upload one photo and copy and paste the confirmation code into the message box. Then I go to add a second photo by the same process as above, however the text box goes white and I lose all the previous coding.

I have tried several times however have the same result.

Any ideas??

ta, PeterM.

Hi Peter,

You shouldnt need to cut and paste, the image address with img tags should appear automaticly in the text box once uploaded.

Cheers,

Phil.

This is a tutorial I did for the SFCC forum...it might help

Hopefully this might help those who arent sure how to post images up.

The picture you want to post up needs to be 200kb in file size or smaller.

If your pictures are larger than this, you can email them to me and I will resize them for you.

The first step is to select the reply to topic button, the same one you click to type your messages.

Then you need to click on the little paperclip icon.

Once you do this, you will see this screen.

You then need to click on 'browse' and locate your picture on your computer.

Once you have located your picture you can then upload it to the forum by clicking the upload button.

Once you picture has uploaded you will see this screen.

Click the close window line.

You will then see this screen.

You can then click the 'post reply' button and your image will be posted

If there are any steps that are vague, let me know and I can add more detail to this tutorial as required[;^)]

Hello Phil,
I agree totally. Sounds really easy.

"You will then see this screen."

However I do not get the code automatically being added into the message.

ta, peter.

I get the same thing in Firefox. Used to spend ages coding in the pics. Might have to do with the browser you're using.

In the interim Peter, if you want to email me the pics I can post them, you can then reply with quote and edit to be your own post by deleting the quote tags I can then delete my original post with the pics?

Hello Phil,

I am pretty sure it is Internet Explorer 8 doing this.
The entire screen would go white except for the top toolbars, and lose the text and piccies.

I have a few minutes ago successfully uploaded the text and piccies.

What I did was to create the entire file in Word, copy and paste into the message, upload each image, all while being watched by the Mrs who was weilding a very large baseball bat. If it was to fail once more the pc would be sent flying over Parramatta Park in the dark of the night....
