rotisserie

hey guys
its been a while since i have posted but haven't had much to say really..
well this coming week im going to try my hand at making a rotisserie for my escort. i will try and take some pics and let you know how i go. if you have any tips, feel free to give me hints and tips for the build..

    Here's the one we made for our Valiant project. Cost was about $300 in steel and misc parts, bolts etc....

    ok first question.. how do i know where to put the pivot point on the vehicle? how low should i drop the mounts from the pivot point?

    We made both the centre height of the vehicle and the height of the spindle both adjustable. It was hit and miss but we took an educated guess at the Valiants centre of gravity and put a couple of holes either side. They are just held in place with an old high tensile bolt. We used 65mm2 tube over 50mm2 tube I think and it fitted nicely.

    i did it.. it looks shyte and its gay.. so im not gunna take any pictures.. :( im not very good at manufacturing and this proves it lol.. i think im gunna struggle with the rust repairs..
