oh how wrong could I be... sure he only wants a body to race with, but this bargain buy licensed escort is too good for him to convert, and he's way to happy driving it around....

so no swap...

Oh well, this entire situation is over then. [;^)]

I wish this bump (from OVER A YEAR AGO!!!) was with better news. Unfortunately a lot has changed in the past 15 months and I'm afraid it has come down to this.

I have to sell my Escort.[8~2][8~2][8~2][8~2][8~2]

Having literally just moved into my first home, I now have a whopping mortgage and no room for the Escort. My mother, the owner of the land the Escort is currently rusting on, wants it gone, and she'll sell it to a scrap metal yard if I don't hurry up.
[:-(][:-(]
So... Here's the deal. Head over to the For Sale (Whole Cars) section and check it all out. I'd very much rather sell it to a member of this forum, but I have two other people possibly interested in it.

If the buyer is willing to barter, I would include almost all of the things I have purchased for this restoration project (even the original glass fuel pump - following certain conditions.)

.....

For the information of anyone who cares... I have a buyer.

He will be doing the final inspection and paying for the car this Sunday (16th Nov.) [8~2][8~2][8~2]

It took a new house for me to part with my Nelly... after so many years.

I'll tell him of this forum, he may already be a member, or he may join (which would be good). Either way, it's a very sad week for me.
I'm going to have to change my signature"[8~2]

Okay, Tony will pick up the Escort tomorrow morning. [:-(][8~2]

He's getting a bargain.

I'm sorry guys, I've had to give up. I feel so terrible.

I beg forgiveness. Please take solice in knowing it is going to a small Ford enthusiast who wants nothing else but to get Nelly back on the road.

God Speed, Nelly.
