here's some pics....

and to make my smile even bigger...... double checked ( thanks to this forum!! ) and found out the car has a 711M 1600 in it and 4spd is tight as and has a quick shift fitted. has lots of other bits that we need too like a good boot which is why we bought it in the first place!!

here's some pics:

this is why it was cheap!! such a shame, would have been a bloody tidy car before!

Haha, I'm scrolling down thinking to myself how can this be a parts shell?

Then I get to the smash picture, not good.

This damage is not a big repair.

Certainly shouldn't be considered to scrap the shell.

i'll be offering the shell once i've taken off what i need, will still have the majority of the body just less the boot.

too much damage for me to try and fix plus i have a good body already and not enough room etc to keep em both.

cheers

just bought a TomTom from these guys off ebay,

i opted for the cheaper one, which was a "refurbished" second hand item.

arrived, thing looked 100% brand new, completely stoked with it!

super cheap price, and i got to put homer simpson as my voice! haha

came with car charger, protector, carry case, computer cord everything!

that sound's really great Sterling!

I guess you can really put it to the test on Saturday night on the way home from a big night on the turps. Good to see if Tom Tom will point the way safely home for you. Not that I am advocating drink driving!

Picked up "well presented" trophy for the RS2000 at the Ford vs Holden day in Cairns yesterday - only taken twenty years to get her first trophy....

Thought about 'value adding' and supply the car(s) too?

Got the Air Conditioning compressor on the car today. I had all the ingredients, but they wouldn't come together - outcome would have been a custom made bracket (compressor would have been dragging on he ground), drop the twin carbs, drop the air con or get a smaller compressor - the later was the winner.

The rebuild has been at a bit of a stalemate for most of this year, until this was sorted. A few bits & pieces to tidy up and the rebuild should be on the home straight ($ & time permitting)
