Ouch. The new computer is mounted in an Antec case that makes it very silent (P183). The old one sounded like a turbine. It cooked the northbridge chip after a fan failed.

what do u expect from people who own Escorts! mine was given me more headaches than smiles.... haha still love it though. but anyway, what makes me angry today. is i crashed mine today.. just finished sorting all the problems with the new powertrain, and i end up hitting a tree!!! leaning towards painting the whole car again.

Seeing the 6 inches of mud in my freshly seam welded ,balsted and etched MK2 rally car after flood water inundated my mates workshop where I am building my car.
2 hours with the gurnie got rid of most of it ,but I will have to remove the etch and surface rust next time I am out there.[:(!]

My MK2 roller was not washed away in the Floods where my car is being built. The guy who owns the workshop had the forethought of putting all of my bits on the tray of a ute and lifting it on the hoist for me.
I did have to spend a couple of hours with the gurnie,getting all of the mud out of the car.

I'm angry because of the flooding and knowing that there's nothing I can do to help the thousands in need. Having said that I'm also thankful that my house is unaffected.

I've deleted waaay too many of those on the forum I've got moderator power at. This:  Now down to single monitor and I can't use my Xbox now, I got that monitor about 1 year ago and it cost me nearly $600

what a terrible day. Had some issues at work today which may invovle police investigation (not on my part)but they want me to be a witness and make a statement.
Then on the drive home from work, pouring rain, 1.st to second gear and a tiny bit of wheel spin resulted in me getting a $110 fine and 3 points. FML

Could I ask what brand of monitor it is?
The Mrs had exactly the same problem with a 1 year old Medion laptop bought from Aldi that was 2 weeks past the 1 year warranty.
Despite her sending several letters requesting assistance to repair to both Aldi head office in Aussieland and also to Medion in Germany she was refused help. [}:)]

I got the monitor march last year, and its got 3 years warrenty. I just need to ring up Acer so they can pick it and do what ever they need to do. I paid $650 for it and they are now $380 and yet they haven't been replaced by a newer model.
