    You can't as i did something similar years ago with a timing light lead and trust me it gets messy!

    You can do it on a pinto with the alternator belt

    A mate accidentally did a very similar thing on a AU multirib belt when perfoming a service, only he used his fingers... [8~2]

    The result was several hours in the hosital... not fun...
