Congratulations Mark. Car of the year 2009 and a wedding. What a lucky man you must be to have such an understanding wife to have a RS 2000 Escort wedding cake. Looks awesome, it must have taken ages to make. Love the added "snail" too.

...It was made by a professional cake maker, I design and engineer electro-mechanical and hydraulic power transmission drives for industrial and mining applications and for sure did not make the cake. The guy got the snail wrong a little as it was meant to be half out of the bonnet like a character feature... My wife thought it was the best idea ever to have a cake in the shape of the RS, but it only became reality when we happened upon a one man band that was willing to take on the challenge, including the canopy, which is made of sugar, other company's will only do a convertible...

Hey did the cake maker use any 'filler' in the quarters? I see he did a wicked 'Jam' job on the outside....sorry crap jokes but had to say them!
