240 Cortina engine change
Basicly changing the engine due to the alt mount broken on the block alt mount  up on blocks   head looks pretty good as it was done not long ago   patented engine transport device with escort 71M thanks Tom  the engine needs a rebuild, the engine bay will get cleaned up and painted, want to keep it original but tidy cheeRS Wayne

Just thought I would be different and not put a bigger engine in update 68 engine out now, going to paint the engine bay and hide the wiring.    engines loaded into the daily  easy way to lower 2 xflows in the boot  68 motor now in bits, engine mounts, inlet and exhaust manifolds, sump, timing cover and pick up pipe will be needed, the head and block will be binned. more soon Wayne

71M now stripped waiting for new shells and rings, gasket kit and new clutch arrived, bay painted(sorry about photos taken at 8:30)l'll take some more in daylight, cheeRS Wayne
