Front strut inserts what is everyone using?
Whilst in progress of doing my rebuild , thought I'd replace the inserts whilst everything is apart.I know of Pedders what else is reasonably priced and aimed at the sporty drives thrashing up a hill..

Ive also found KYB and Tein brand these are very $$ . The guy at my brake place dabbles with after market suspension. He says seeing we only use the insert it might only be a matter of finding the dimensions of the original and scurring thru other car models ie honda accord for example.. food for thought

Yes we have, just maybe not responded. So here's my 5c worth (2c no longer available). ... Monroe - branfd new pair leaking in the box, full refund from store. Pedders - Very similar price, Ok, but a bit floaty for my liking.
Once upon a time... Koni (haven't seen any around for ages).

Value for money is GAZ. Multi adjustable on the car, 2 year warranty. Once I get stocks back these will be under $400 per set of 2 for front inserts. Just trying to get a freight cost now to see if the GFC has reduced air freight costs..

Can't you still source the 86-1835 Sport (Yellows)? They are listed on Konis website for RS2000 Escort and Mk2/3 Capri...

I got the 86-1835 Sport Koni's for my Mk1. Despite Koni's fitment listing they fit in the struts fine, not that I have had them on the car yet!
