Dash Conversion need help!

Hi Guys!,
Wondering if you guys can help me in my dilema. I purchased a fibreglass twincam dash top and in the process of converting.
Apon ripping my dashpad out and attempting to install the newly aquired one I found serious issues trying to seat the right most side. The dashpad will not sit flush. Can anyone view my pics and see
if its just me or was I shipped a dud dashpad.

    hey
i herd that if you put the twin cam fibro dash top on a standard 2 guage mk1 dash you would need to cut out a section of the metal on the dash. capri clinc in wa can help you out jus give them a call

Thanks mate! Been a while since this post. I since installed my dash! all good! The problem was the Capri clinics dash was moulded wrong and they happily gave me a refund. I then spoken to Geoff Wade and he sent me a Fibre Glass item that was ten times better for much less cost!!!!

His username is GeoffWade one word! checkout the paint and panels section. The item is fibreglass only, not covered, and retains the orginal mk1 grain feel. I can't tell its fibreglass which is why I like it. I have bought a few things off Geoff. Good to deal with!!

The ones on ebay can be expensive so watch out. I have a name of someone who has hundreds of escort parts and panels stored in Sydney. I'll give him a call and check for you.

There you go nardo, I am fairly easy to find. I can also help you out with fibreglass Mk1 bumperettes, or I also have a few pairs of old second hand steel bumperettes,
