100e Prefect

Well I've finished the RS & then a prefect tured up in original running condition for $1000. The boss said 'whatever' so I bought it.
My plans are to put it on historic plates through my club (Hunter British Ford Group) collect a few parts and go to town on it.
I was thinking of a zetec but i have decided to do something a little different... a Rotor, hopefully I won't have to chop the firewall as I only want a 12a aspirated with a Series one or two 5 speed.
I'll need MkI Cortina struts calipers & TCA's & a 105e or MKI escort diff (anyone got anything spare)

Here's some pic's.
My mate with the XP is chasing XY - XW front suspension & Diff as well.

I got a Prefect van 300E, complete but rotted out panels, great for a Hotrod. The diff you will need is from a mk1 Cortina or 105e Angular to get the better setup, i'm swapping my steering and drum struts for Escort struts, rack/xmember and column.
My motor swap of choice is either a 2.8 Cologne V6, or a Ford Explorer 4.0 V6...both will need a severe bulkhead chop!

Keep us updated on your project

That looks awesome Tim, I Can imagine it with a 12A Barkin at the lights at idle[:x)], Where you going to work on it? Ohh and how much space in the engine bay? Same or near abouts on escort or less?

    Cheers Rhys

that would make an awesome little historic touring car. You could do it up like the ones that race at goodwood. Would love to do a 100e up like that one day..
