Hi Paul. Do you need to get certification/ engineering done once these kits are installed? I’m sure it’s been asked before but different states have different takes on what’s necessary. Cheers

If it’s to be used on a registered vehicle then I would assume all states would be yes - needs to be assessed by an engineer etc.

Hi All. Hope everyone is well. I’m currently out of stock and asking if anyone’s considering a rear disc conversion and interested in purchasing a kit. Feel free to PM or reply here.

Hi Paul, I've just finished reading this thread and have not found an answer to the question I have. Will the standard Escort brake master cylinder work with the R31 calipers fitted or will a brake proportioning valve or pedal box be required? Thanks.

You’ll need more rear brake pressure than you do with drums so you’ll need to remove any proportion valve that is used with the drum brake. In theory this disc kit will work with the Standard front brakes, booster and MC (assuming the OEM MC has a common bore between F -R).

Eskylid Hi Paul, I’m currently sorting out a hilux rear end and would like to purchase disc brake conversion brackets if/when you have them available. Thanks.
No worries. Will have them ready shortly

He didn’t establish if they fit as he sold the car.
“Hi Paul, No stress sorry I have been MIA lately and have since sold the Capri i was planning to use it on and never got a chance to check. Thanks for following up though, much appreciated.”
