Cozberts MKII

Hey guys, been looking round on here for ages and thought i would let you's all know about my escort. I got my escort almost 2 years ago with intentions to keep it and do it up, but not having my own house and shed made things hard so it was stored at a family members house. today i finally got it into my shed, within a couple of hours i got just about all of the interior out of it. i took a few photos with my phone aswell, and will hopefully be able to get some better pics when i find the charger for my digital cam.

My MKII is a xl 1300 auto[V] but i am out to change that, my plans so far are to:

- strip the shell
- straighten out dents
- install a sr20det and all the other stuff reqd for the conversion.
- re-paint
- new mags
- new interior
- and probably many many other things that will come along.

here are some of the pictures that i took tonight.

Front End Misshap (Before i owned the car)

Also from front end mishap

About the worst of the rust i can find, one little spot in the boot floor that looks about the same too

Roof liner in fairly good condition

only damage to roof liner so far.

1300... sorry about quality of this pic.

Cheers guys ill update once i start to do some work to the old girl

looks like good shell to start from, wish my mk2 was as tidy(my spare wheel is escaping out the wheel well), altho i've owned it for 12yrs and driven daily till last June when it retired.
Keep at it as the reward is always worth the effort and loss of knuckles[:x)]
