Skyline 4 piston conversion

I have been busy of late making more conversion kits for the Mk2 cortina.

The kit cost $1000 or $950 with change over hubs.

15 inch rims are required to fit the brakes. The conversion will widen the track of the car by 10mm a side

The kit consist of:

Skyline 4 piston brake calipers

297mm x 30mm slotted brake rotors. Note: X drilled and slotted rotor shown in pic. These can be supplied at extra cost if wanted.

Caliper adapters- 12mm thick steel plates

Machined hubs to accept new discks

New wheel bearings and seals

Parts not supplied.

Brake pads - some people require different compound pads so i have left it up to the buyer

Brake lines - again... Some may want just rubber lines some may want braided lines.

At the moment i only have kits for the mk2 cortina but im looking to expand and include Escorts.

I will have more pics up soon of the hubs etc.

Kits are well designed and more than capable for motor sport use. Most would have seen my car and know the standard of my work. So rest assured the kit is top notch.

Conversion is strut on the left

Mate they look damn fine. I have a set of GT Capri Struts fitted to my MK 1 Escort. i would be very interested with this conversion as I am waiting on a pedal box from Smcka. These would make the conversion that whole lot better.:)Are you located in Sydney?

Here is a pic of the hubs after they have been blasted. NOTE: they are supplied Coated black

The hubs have been machined at the back to remove the original disck mounts.
They have also had the overall diameter reduced to fit inside the new discks.
Finally the front snout has been turned down and a spacer ring pressed onto the front. This locates the new disk.
I can also turn the rest of the snout down to any size so that the wheels can be located hubcentric.

If this is needed you will need to let me know when ordering or a std cortina snout size will be supplied.

Are you doing these for Escorts yet???? What rotor do you use? I already have a set of R32 Turbo Calipers, would you supply the brackets and hubs only?

No not really........... I dont have any Escort hubs to machine down yet.

If you have some hubs i can turn then we are in buisness.

Im pretty sure my caliper brackets i have which are made out of 12mm steel will fit the Escort as well as the cortina or worst case senario i can mod them slighty to fit.

I can prob supply caliper brackets and machine a set of supplied hubs for $350-$400. It really just depends on how long it takes me to set up the Escort hubs in the lathe and if i can use my original jig to suit the cortina hubs or if i need to make a completly new jig to suit the escort hubs to get the job done.

Slighty off topic - what are the springs on the left side strut (non-coilover one).

The hubs you show, already machined I know, look very similar to the escort hub. Are they not the same??? What are the rotors, shown in pic's, off??

Are they just a different bearing?? PCD would be the same wouldn't it? Would the escort be able to machined down to the same dimensions to allow fitting of rotor?? Lots of questions I guess but if you don't ask I suppose you'll never know.

Yeah it is a different bearing.
The escort hub can be machined down the same as the cortina one.
    PCD is ther same.

Rotors are just a DBA item.
