Tilly's MK2 Esky

Hey all, this lil thing has been a plan in the making for too many years so i thought it was time i started showing her some attention

she is a 1980 4dr that we have owned for just over 6 years...we drove it for about 3 weeks before she was in the shed and without an engine (i had big plans but not much brains...)

i removed the engine, side bumper strips, and some of the interior...having no money and thus no motorvation the old girl soon saw the dark depths of the back of the shed.

6 years later and here she is (these would have been up earlier but my net has been screwed)

    current plans are to get the interior re-trimmed, engine dropped in, body blasted repaired and sprayed as well as wheels blasted, sprayed and rubbered

    i just want to get back behind the wheel of a decent car, which turns heads and puts a smile on my face everytime in get in

    i have some paint already for her. Morpheous (ve commo purple) with red metallic flake

    wheels are minilites, gonna need a blast and respray

    hardly any rust throught the car, engine bay has a bit of surface rust, plenum for heater is FUBAR (planning to cut it out and smooth it flat) small patch of cancer to the rear right quarter

    she was running a 1600 with auto box, pretty granny spec and not much of a base but hey u cant really complain when u have an escort or any kind of classic ford to work on at the end of the day [88]

    i have more pics and a lot of spares but im a bit rushed today..will have them up soon enough

    also have an engine on the way, 2 litre with a bit of fruit on it, and ill be looking for a 4 speed to drop in to get her rollin and hopefully registered
