K, thanks Jason..its good to see the garage saved and preserved. My brother went there in the '70's for a tune-up on his Escort Lotus and remembers seeing a Brian Hart BDG just sitting on the concrete floor in the workshop!!!

Nice set of cars you have Chobis, that rolla looks spot on

I'm looking for a Corolla for my 2 year old daughter (my 4 year old boy has first dibs on the Mk 1 Corty)....wanna sell it?

RJ

Well due to this overwhelming response to the Rolla and the fact that I spent some time behind the wheel on the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it again, I think it's best if I keep it.

Thanks for all the good comments guys.

Oh and RJ...... I love that you use your kids as excuses to buy yourself new toys. I think I best have some kids so I can do the same. [:p]

Get away from it..... it's miiiiiiiiine !!!!!

No seriously........ I only had been considering selling it because I have too many cars, but I will find a way to keep them all. [:x)]

Just for fun, here's another of my old cars. Before anyone says it should have been lowered, it came factory with extremely well setup suspension, so I wasn't about to screw with it. [B)] Could have used bigger rims too but back then 16's were all I could afford and 18's were the biggest you could buy but they were super rare due to cost.

My daily at work, (10,000 BHP)[88] I think that's more than the train a few pages back.

My Daily at home,

My run-around

Nest egg (yes it needs new bonnet hinges)

Since this photo, changed wheels and put the 'Super Rhino' (it's Seth Efrican) sticker on the front guards.

Give it a few weeks and i'll dig out some photo's of my Escorts

She a Fairmont GT (South African). There's a few differences from the Aussie ones and they'll never be worth as much as an Aussie one, but who really give a rats a#$e.
This photo was taken just before i smoked her up, I have a video of that on my phone, but i don't know how to or where to upload it.
Glad you like it,
Cheers, Richo

Haha, I even took my pluggers off before i got it.

Richo, leave the bonnet up at the back, it is from the 70s, that was all the go when I was a young lad. I have done the same on my hk monaro bonnet. I'll fina a picture and post it

Haha I know what you mean and hve thought about leaving it but every second person asks "why is there a big gap at the back of the bonnet. I usually just say it's to let the heat out.
I'd love to see your Munro, my brother just bought a HK Munro in December, then a VH Charger in Feb. Now he has one each of the 2 doors, the other is an XB Fairmont Coupe. I know jealousy is a curse but it's hard not to when he has one of each. But i suppose that's what happen with no kids. I've got the three kids and he has the three coupe's. I'm not sure if you could call that equal or not[?].
Cheers, Richo

Bugger me.... I have no kids and no coupe's. [8~2]

I agree about leaving the bonnet up at the back. Super cool. Who cares if every second person thinks you're crazy. Good to do something different. Also..... I love so much that your car is the South African version. That makes it even cooler in my eyes!

I'm sure that Tedidesign has but Chobis have you seen the South Af Monaro's, The front ends are different and they're badged a Chevrolet SS. They take a bit of getting used to but they grow on ya.
My brother actually got his from New Zealand. Looking at yours Tedidesign, i reckon i may just leave me bonnet raised up, a bit of nostalgia hey. Yours is definatly a sweet looking rig mate.
Check out the twin system in front of the back left wheel.

Cheers, Richo
